Adilam has completed the onboarding of Inner West Council in Sydney, supplying three new Arcus HF Handheld Wands together with Android tablets and trolley mounts.

The Arcus handheld solution supports efficient stocktake and search workflows, helping staff quickly scan shelves, locate items and manage collection accuracy with greater speed and flexibility.

By pairing each handheld wand with a mounted Android tablet, staff can affix the device to a trolley while working through the collection. This creates a more ergonomic, OH&S-friendly setup for stocktaking and searching, reducing the need for repeated manual handling while keeping key information visible and accessible throughout the workflow.

The Inner West staff were blown away by the speed and accuracy of the handhelds, enabled by Arcus’ unique approach to tag data handling. Arcus HF Handhelds can capably capture the data of 20,000 items an hour, enabling blazing-fast stocktakes and making it easy to keep the LMS up to date.
