Sixth AMHS Machine installed at City of Gold Coast

The Adilam team recently visited Runaway Bay Library, to install City of Gold Coast’s sixth Automatic Manual Handling Sorting (“AMHS”) machine. The Runaway Bay system demonstrates CoGC’s continued commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology to enhance library operations. Over the past year, CoGC have installed six AMHS machines and 10 Arcus Smart & Secure Return Chutes to improve efficiency and provide a better experience for both staff and library users.

This latest installation includes an advanced sorter system and return chute, designed to streamline the return and sorting process. By choosing an Adilam AMHS machine, CoGC are ensuring quicker processing times and smoother operations, ultimately allowing the community to access resources more efficiently.

A big ‘Thank you!’ to the Runaway Bay branch team for their warm hospitality and support during the installation process, which was undertaken during library opening hours with zero impact on library operations. The Runaway Bay team were immediately struck by their new sorter’s small size and quite operation.
