Arcus Self-Service is simple, powerful, expressive, and highly configurable. Features can be enabled or disabled depending on your specific requirements, at the service, branch or station level. The browser-based interface allows easy configuration; changes can be instantly pushed to all or some stations.

Flexible Operation
Issues, Renewals and Reservations

Stations can allow both issues and renewals. The user can jump between renewing and borrowing without losing transaction information. The receipt slip will display all new loans and renewals.

Depending on your LMS, patrons can also view, modify and cancel active reservations.

Patron-driven Returns

If you prefer patrons to return their own items, simply enable the feature and use our rich configuration tools to set custom items sort rules and behaviours.

Database Driven
Preferences

Borrower preferences – including receipt type, language, appearance, and accessibility features – are automatically saved. Preferences are remembered for all future sessions at all Self-Service stations, saving time and personalising every checkout.

Custom receipts

Email and print receipts can be customised by staff using a WYSIWYG editor. Custom messages are easily updated and changed, logos added, and fonts and date formats changed.
