The Arcus Smart Locker is an automated self-service reservations kiosk which facilitates extended library opening hours by providing a self service reservations collection point that can be positioned in either internal or external conditions.
The Adilam Smart Locker allows library staff to remotely allocate lockers with reserved items such as books via its client application. By simply scanning the item(s) using the Smart Locker client application, Adilam allocates an empty locker and prints a receipt with a unique barcode that indicates the item(s) and locker number.
Manage Reservations
Easy to load
To load the Smart Locker, a staff member just scans the barcode on the receipt that is relevant to the reserved items which will automatically unlock the correct locker. This enables them to place the items inside and then close the locker door.
Easier to collect
The borrower accesses their items by simply scanning their library card at the in-built optical barcode scanner. This prompts the Smart Locker to list their items on the embedded touchscreen. The borrower taps the ‘accept’ button, and their designated locker will pop open automatically. When the items are retrieved and the locker shut again, the items are checked out to the borrower.

Also give them the ability to browse and borrow new items using our Checkout module. Your members can borrow from a select set of curated materials, or use the embedded RFID checkout station to lend materials from any collection.
Advanced technology
Lend, store and charge laptops and other equipment using our Charging module.
These large lockers function just like ordinary reservation lockers, but include charging cables for storing lending laptops, iPads or other technology. Your members can also use a locker temporarily to charge their own devices.
