Arcus Access is your flexible and powerful venue control system. With attractive hardware and intelligent behaviours, you can offer your members unmatched ease when using and accessing library spaces – including during unstaffed periods such as After Hours. Depending on your unique infrastructure, the Arcus Access validator panel can seamlessly integrate with your building access systems (including strike lock and automatic doors), security, alarm, speaker and lighting systems. And the source of truth is your ILS/LMS – you are always in control of which members can access what, and when.
Easy Implementation
Set your schedule
You decide when a library space is open (available to everyone), closed (completely unavailable) or accessible (available to inducted members). Changing the schedule is easy.
Card and PIN
During accessible periods, inducted members can simply scan their library card and enter their password on the intuitive touch screen for secure access.
2FA available
For added convenience, inducted members can opt to receive a secure access link via email. Clicking the link will instantly open the door.
Automatic Entry
Once the system verifies their credentials, the door automatically opens, providing seamless and uninterrupted access to the library space. Depending on your level of integration, this can also trigger lights, alarms, speakers or security systems.

Member Management
Arcus Access uses your ILS/LMS as the source of truth. You decide which members have access to which spaces and when. Members can be given temporary access – or temporary blocks.
Real-Time Tracking
Every installation also includes our advanced vision-based people counting solution, Arcus Flow. These intelligent units track every individual entering or exiting the library. Paired with Arcus Access, we can accurately determine exactly how many people enter and exit each time the door is open. This data is collected and available real-time.
Detailed Reports
Arcus’ powerful reporting module gives staff access to detailed breakdowns of user activity. We show total entries and exits, repeated successful or failed entry attempts, average dwell time, and more.
Secure Operation
Robust hardware
Designed and manufactured in Australia, the validator panel is built to withstand harsh conditions. With an IP65 weatherproof rating, the system is protected against dust and water, making it durable and reliable in all environments. A shade cowling can be added for systems in full sunlight, and custom vinyl skins can be added.
Secure access
The panel can be seamlessly integrated with existing security infrastructure, including alarm systems, lighting and speakers. Access is always restricted to inducted members only.
Dynamic Display
As part of Arcus, the panel integrates with our powerful promotions module. Use the screen as a tool for engaging visitors with information, promotions, or educational material.
